Privacy Policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this website or buy one of our manuals, and how it is used. We collect as little as possible.
Who we are
This website is operated by [Your legal name or company name], publishing as Plainlight Press. You can reach us at [support@your-domain.com] or through our contact page.
Information this website collects
- No accounts, no forms. This website does not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.
- The interactive tools run on your device. The Readiness Check, Spot the Scam and the Budget Planner work entirely in your own browser. Nothing you choose or type in them is sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is saved.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify you.
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
Purchases
Orders are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record. When you buy, Gumroad’s checkout opens on top of this page and Gumroad collects the information needed to take payment, calculate sales tax, deliver your download and handle refunds, under its own privacy policy at gumroad.com. We never see your card details. Gumroad shares with us the order details we need to support you, such as your name, email address and what you purchased. We use that information only to provide customer support and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We never sell your information.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to [support@your-domain.com]. Some order records must be kept for tax and accounting purposes. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under privacy laws, and we will honor them.
Children
This website and our manuals are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
